13. Rustic Bark – Limewash Inspirations

Note

When painting with a traditional brush in two coats, it is important that the paint spreads easily on the wall. If it is too thick, the application becomes more difficult and brush marks may be visible. In such cases, adding a small amount of water can make the paint more fluid and easier to apply.

Colors and Blending Effect

• Darker shades create more visible tonal transitions, adding depth to the finish.
• Lighter, beige tones result in more subtle and delicate color transitions.

Additional Tip

Apply the paint to the wall in a random and irregular motion – this is the key to achieving a natural effect. Try to relax and trust the process.
